CHAIRMAN

Hendrik Jordaan co-founded FLC Credit Partners and affiliated firms Family Legacy Capital and One Thousand & One Voices (or 1K1V). He was instrumental in designing the firm’s structure, investment approach and strategy. As Chairman, he chairs the firm’s Investment Committee and oversees Investor Relations. Mr. Jordaan previously was the Global Chair of the Private Equity Investments and Buyouts Practice of Morrison and Foerster LLP. He has over 20 years of experience in private equity, M&A and complex cross-border financing.

PETER ESCHMANN

Partner & Managing Director

Peter has over 25 years of experience, most recently as a Managing Director at Cerberus Capital Management's direct lending company, Cerberus Business Finance, where from 2004 – 2020 he was involved in more than 125 transactions. He was previously a banker at Deutsche Bank, Chase Manhattan and Bankers Trust. Peter completed the Chase Global Credit Training program and has an MBA from Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business and a BA from Boston College.

MATT HART

Partner &; Managing Director

Matt has over 20 years of experience, most recently as head of Private & Transitional Finance at Jefferies, where he led the firm’s debt advisory and restructuring finance businesses. He was previously a senior investment banker at Lazard and Intrepid Financial Partners, after several years as an opportunistic credit investor and lender at Merrill Lynch and Eos Partners. He has advised on over 60 transactions totaling over $140B, and invested in dozens of similar situations as a principal. Matt is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified Insolvency & Restructuring Advisor (CIRA). He has an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and an BA from the University of Michigan.

JAY ROGERS

Partner & Managing Director

Jay has over 20 years of experience, most recently as Chief Credit Officer of the lending operations of Catalyst Capital, overseeing more than a dozen professionals and ~30 investments totaling ~$1.5 billion. He previously spent nearly a decade as a Managing Director at Cerberus Capital Management's specialty lending companies, Ableco Finance and Cerberus Business Finance. Earlier in his career he was a member of the Special Situations Group at GE Capital, a senior analyst and portfolio manager at Fursa Alternative Strategies, and a restructuring consultant at LoftusGroup. Jay has an MBA from Georgetown University and a BA from the University of Colorado.

ROBERT MCEWAN

Chief Financial Officer & Chief Operations Officer

Robert has over 15 years of experience, most recently as Chief Financial Officer of H.I.G. Capital’s Credit Platform. He was previously a Managing Director and Chief Operations Officer for Blackstone Alternative Asset Management’s special situations direct investing platform. He has led and managed finance, accounting, operations, valuation and investor reporting teams across multiple platforms. Robert is a Certified Public Accountant in New York State and is a qualified member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Scotland (ICAS). He has a Masters in Finance from the University of Strathclyde and a BA from the University of Glasgow.

BRIAN MULLIN

Vice President

Brian has over 10 years of experience, most recently as Director of Institutional Sales at Campbell and Company, a systematic investment management firm specializing in absolute return strategies for institutional and high net worth clients. He was previously a Senior Portfolio Associate at Neuberger Berman. He has over 10 years of experience in capital raising and investor relations. Brian is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) and has a BA from Gettysburg College.

Anton Newbury

Senior Advisor

Anton Newbury founded Enso Equity. He also was Co-Managing Partner at Athena Capital and a Director at Brait Private Equity.

Bruce Dines

Senior Advisor

Bruce Dines is a partner at Liberty Global Ventures where he co-founded the technology investment practice. He was previously President of Ericsson CMS and COO of NorthStar Exchange. He has more than 25 years of experience in the technology and telecommunications industries.
